Tips to improve your oral expression
If you want to improve your speaking skills:
Don’t be scared.
Pay attention to pronunciation from the start.
Be patient when pronouncing new words.
And if you’re not, record the correct pronunciation of that word or phrase
And listen to it another time, that way you’ll familiarise yourself with that word.
Don’t think too much when you’re speaking
Because you’ll get frustrated.
Increase your vocabulary and grammar when it’s lacking.
Make yourself read, that’s the only way you’ll improve your vocabulary.
Read aloud if you’re scared to speak in front of others.
Speak in front of a mirror to gain self-confidence.
Find a native speaker and practice with them.
Speak as much as you can.
Have classes with a native teacher.
Risk making errors.
Push yourself to only speak the language you’re learning.
Listen to music.
Speak without fear, so you aren’t shy.
Enjoy learning new words.
Visit a country where they speak the language you’re learning.
Stay there for a while.
Speak with the locals and also learn about their culture and customs.
Immerse yourself in the everyday life of the people who live there.
